Wood County Senior Citizens Association, Inc. maintains five vehicles for transportation services which are provided to all residents of Wood County, West Virginia. Three vehicles are equipped with a wheelchair lift with the remaining vehicles used for regular transportation. The agency provides transportation to various appointments including medical appointments, the grocery store, bank and any other “necessary” appointments.
We do not transport to the hair dresser, mall, other personal trips, etc.
We ask that you schedule your ride at least one week in advance of your appointment by calling our main office at 304-485-6748.
The service operates beginning at 8 AM with our last scheduled pick-up at 2 PM. All services for residents age 60 and above, are provided on a donation basis.
